Integrative Art Psychotherapist

Wild Hearts Therapy

A confidential, compassionate and creative space for adults, children, parents, couples, people with learning difficulties and older adults.

About My Work

I am an Integrative Art Psychotherapist based in London, working with adults, children, parents, couples, people with learning difficulties and the elderly.

I work in a trauma-informed way, focusing on building a sense of safety in the body and understanding how past experiences can continue to influence the present. This can support difficulties such as anxiety, depression, sleep challenges, OCD, low self-esteem, and emotional overwhelm.

I offer a confidential, compassionate, creative, and non-judgemental space where individuals can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences through both art-making and therapeutic conversation. No artistic experience is needed, only curiosity and openness.

With a focus on building safety and increasing self-awareness, art psychotherapy can help you connect more deeply with yourself, explore patterns, and develop a more grounded and compassionate sense of who you are.

What is Integrative Art Psychotherapy?

Art Psychotherapy is a form of therapy that uses creative expression to explore feelings and experiences that may be difficult to articulate. You do not need to be good at art, the focus is on the process, not the outcome.

The arts offer a way of communicating beyond words, connecting directly with the body and inner experience. This can be especially supportive for trauma, which is often held in the body and not always easily accessed through language.

Art-making can help you:

  • Express emotions safely
  • Reduce anxiety and stress
  • Explore identity and relationships
  • Process trauma and difficult experiences
  • Build self-awareness and confidence

Using creative forms such as visual art, clay, music, movement, drama, sand tray, and poetry, individuals can express inner experiences in ways that feel safer and more accessible.
